As I sit here typing  The craving lasts  As days go by  The spell still casts   
I try to forget, but the get is still for  The days I stop, the more it is more  I try to resist  But it seems to persist   
I can’t get through this never-ending nightmare  And I seem stranded in this ocean of blood  I can’t believe it turned into this  But I cannot say this is my bliss  Cuz after all, it’s my own business   
I calm down every so often  Just to see  That this bloody burden,  We all can agree  Is slowly and scarily  Creeping all

Growing Dark, Catching Light.In the darkness, I have grown,  To the devil, my soul he owns.  I try to escape, but the door closes.  I have to take darkness in large, giant doses.   
The Light came near, o save my soul,  but, to Him in whom I trust, I try to keep hold.  I lose my grip, and revert to the silence,  For, with the devil, I dance.   
O to the dark, I am it's.  To the Light, I make hits.  I can not see where I am going,  
so hold my hand, Lord, and carry me only.  O, in the Dark, I had grown,  
but it was the Light, to me it shone. Growing Dark, Catching Light.
